We build streamlined tools that complement, not compete with, your legal judgment (or that of the frontier AI models). We target only the most tedious parts of lawyering, intentionally leaving the debate about how much substantive work AI can handle to you.
Speech-to-text
Our flagship app transcribes speech from any browser tab (Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WebEx) with easy integration to the Claude and ChatGPT via our CLI. Using a web app, while less convenient, was deliberate: bots that join your meeting are obnoxious (and potentially waive privilege), and always-on desktop software inevitably records things you didn't want recorded.
A browser based web app also means never installing anything. Attackers have weaponized the “just install the update since I'm late for my meeting” reflex that meeting software engrains into users:
- SecurityWeek — North Korean cryptocurrency thieves caught hijacking Zoom ‘Remote Control’ feature
- Malwarebytes — Fake Zoom meeting “update” silently installs surveillance software
- Netskope — Attackers weaponize RMM tools via Zoom, Meet, & Teams lures
caption.fyi provides an incentive to join meetings from the browser, helping users unlearn this dangerous reflex.
Template-DB
A searchable database of 50,000+ commercial contracts drawn from SEC filings, AI-converted into Microsoft Word template that (mostly) implements document processing best practices. Search is semantic, not just string matching — describe the clause or deal term you need in plain English (“change-of-control triggers in executive employment agreements”) and surface conceptually similar provisions even when the drafter chose entirely different words.
